information.
BASIC PREMISE This game centres around the daily life of mutants in the New York City metropolitan area, which includes a great deal of other cities in the New York-New Jersey-Connecticut tri-state area. One such location in this area is North Salem, in Westchester County, the home of the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning. While the school is active and you are more than welcome to have your character a part of it, either as faculty or student, the focal point of this game will be on the mutant community at a whole, in an effort to engage all characters equally. CHARACTER NOTES At present, the original five members of the X-Men are in their late twenties, and players should take this into consideration when aging their own characters. There will be a number of characters in later canon unavailable for play, most notably Nathan and Hope Summers (full list of unavailable characters: here). Players wishing to place holds on individuals from Alternate Earths should contact the moderators beforehand. Characters of great power such as Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr are available, and players are encouraged to try their hand at them if their interest lies there. RULES/REQUIREMENTS It goes without saying that we expect our players to respect each other, and to not allow OOC drama to slip into IC and vice versa. There is no character limit, but we will require every player to submit to a minimum activity requirement of two forms of activity per character per month -- commenting will only count as one of two required, and it must be a significant amount of commenting; more than one or two comments. Your contact information must be up to date so that we may contact you in the event of a problem,a question, or a plot request. All players must submit applications for each character, which will be left unanswered for no more than 48 hours by the mods. |
